Karaoke standing is niche but ferocious: theatre kids treat Gethsemane the way rock singers treat Bohemian Rhapsody, as a public dare, and Superstar's call and response chorus recruits the whole room by the second pass. I Don't Know How to Love Him is the safe great choice, a genuinely beautiful song that rewards restraint over power. Until researched numbers land, our advice is the casting director's advice: know which role your voice already is, and audition for that one.
